Come and hear American organ virtuoso Carlo Curley, 'the Pavarotti of the organ', play the organ in the Caird Hall on Tuesday 1 June.
Carlo last played in Dundee in 1992, the first person to play the instrument in the Caird Hall after its extensive restoration. This is sure to be a night to remember: buy your tickets now!
Admission is £10, with discounts for members of FOCHO (tickets £8). Student standby tickets are £3, and accompanied schoolchildren get in free.

Our first General Meeting takes place in the Ashton Hall on Wednesday 28 April at 7.30pm. All members are welcome to the meeting, which will involve the election of office bearers and a short musical coda by Stuart Muir, City Organist.

The Friends of the Caird Hall Organ held their formal launch in the Caird Hall on 3 March 2010 in front of an audience of over 300 people. City Organist Stuart Muir and FOCHO Honorary President Gordon Stewart played the instrument, and there were brief speeches by interim Chair Jim McKellican and by Mark Venning (chairman of Harrison & Harrison, the organ's builder) spoke.
FOCHO is delighted to have signed up so many Friends at its first event and looks forward to promoting several further exciting events later this year.
Our grand launch takes place in the Caird Hall on Tuesday 2 March 2010 with Gordon Stewart and Stuart Muir. All welcome! Refreshments provided.
